03/09/2019 - Planet Zoo Gameplay Reveal Video
Frontier Developments have showcased a new (nearly) 19 minutes video, showing off a lot of gameplay from their upcoming title, Planet Zoo.
As you'll see in the video, there is a beyond obsessive level of detail in the game, not only in the fantastic graphics and models of the animal but also in the smaller things, like posters & props outside of the habitats.
Planet Zoo is using the same engine as its thrill seeking predecessor, Planet Coaster but an evolution (pun slightly intended) has occurred and you now get a deeper level of reporting in the form of heatmaps, amongst others.
The choice of animals is not limited to the ones that live outside, or even the larger ones as you'll see in zoo simulations of old. You can house insects such as the titan beetle, reptiles including iguanas & various species of snake, amphibians like Lehmann's Poision Frog along side many more inside vivariums. The choice of animals you get the option of putting in your zoo(s) is truly staggering and will surely add a lot to the replayability of the game.
The level of detail in the animals is amazing.
Planet Zoo is due for release on Steam on the 5th of November 2019, those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition also get exclusive beta access from the 24th of September to the 8th of October, a set of wallpapers, the original soundtrack by JJ Ipsen plus access to three exclusive animals: the Pygmy Hippopotamus, Thomson’s Gazelle, and the Komodo Dragon!
